RNA sequences of larva and polyp of Arachnanthus errans

In this research, we have undertaken a comprehensive investigation of the transcriptome of Arachnanthus errans, a member of the subclass Ceriantharia, at both the larval and polyp stages. Our study extends beyond transcriptome profiling to include a detailed functional annotation of the transcripts and a focused examination of toxin-like proteins in these life stages. RNA from tentacle of one larva and one polyp of Arachnanthus errans was extracted with the RNAqueous Total RNA Isolation Kit. RNA quality was assessed using NanoDropTM 2000 Spectrophotometer. The integrity was evaluated by Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100 system. The sequencing was performed on Illumina HiSeq 2500 system.
