FoPvo1, a Fusarium oxysporum (Fox) strain, is the causal agent of root and basal stem rot in the woody oilseed crop sacha inchi (Plukenetia volubilis L.). In this study, we present the first genome assembly of Fox strain FoPvo1 using single-molecule real-time sequencing. Its genome size was 51.00 Mb, contained 37 contigs, with an N50 of 4.335 Mb, and the gene number of 16,784. Collinearity analysis showed that the genome of FoPvo1 is more closely related to F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici 4287 (Fol4287) than F. oxysporum f. sp. cubense tropical race 4 strain 58 (FocTR4 58). The availability of this genome will contribute to our understanding of the pathogenic mechanism of FoPvo1 and exploring its genetic control methods.
