ESCALATOR is a programme hosted by the South African Centre for Digital Language Resources. We support the development of an active community of practice in #DigitalHumanities and #ComputationalSocialSciences in South Africa. One of the learning tracks of ESCALATOR - EMPOWER - specifically offers support for women in humanities and social sciences at South African research organisations who want to hone their digital/computational research skills. Through the EMPOWER track, we aim to build an online learning community to support women to adopt intentional learning strategies to enhance their digital/computational skills in their research.
