Data are presented as Hazard Ratios and 95% Confidence Intervals.Adjustment for randomized treatment, country (short-term follow-up only), mean pulse pressure, age, gender, current smoker, histories of diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease & peripheral vascular disease, body mass index, high-density lipoprotein and low-density lipoprotein.
