Qualitative interviews: Men on slut shaming

This data is Danish and is collected as part of a Bachelor's thesis. It consists of 8 qualitative interviews with Danish men of all ages. The interviews are used to understand how men percieve themselves in relation to the slut shaming debate and what positions they take in that regard. What I found was that although all men try to disassociate themselves from the phenomenon, due to it being socially unacceptable, only three managed to discuss slut shaming and judging of women on a general level without indicating that they partake in it. The remaining five participants desplayed acts of slut shaming throughout. This poses a paradox between their inclination to distance themselves from slut shaming while simultaneously engaging in it.
