Samples of 3D skin, irradiated using LED light and compared with un-exposed control, regarding one- and four-days of incubation. Three groups were simulating acute exposure: 1h, 2h and 4 hours whereas the 3D skin samples irradiated for 1 hour over four sequential days were simulating repeated exposure, for both blue wavelength and the full visible spectrum of digital light. Overall design: Eight groups of 3D skin samples were irradiated using LED light, three replicates for each condition pooled, to identify the influence of digital blue light on skin biological mechanisms, compared with un-exposed control. Differential gene expression analysis was normalized using un-exposed 3D skin as a control, regarding one-day of incubation.
