This dataset provides national-scale soil test data for agricultural land in South Korea for the period 2022–2025. The data were compiled from the Korean Soil Information System and include field-level observations of key soil chemical properties, such as soil pH, organic matter, available phosphate, available silica, exchangeable cations, and electrical conductivity.
The dataset is organized by agricultural land-use type (e.g., rice paddies, upland fields, orchards, and facility cultivation) and includes raw, compiled, and quality-controlled (cleaned) data. Geographic coordinates (longitude and latitude) are provided for spatial analysis.
Soil samples were collected as part of an operational soil testing program based on farmer requests and routine surveys; therefore, the dataset does not follow a probabilistic sampling design but provides broad coverage of cultivated land across South Korea.
R scripts and packages used for data acquisition, processing, and quality control are included to support reproducibility. Detailed metadata, variable descriptions, and processing workflows are provided in the accompanying README file.
