Performance Management Counters from Live 5G, 4G and 2G Radio Access Network

This repository contains an anonymized dataset of performance-management (PM) counters from operational 2G (GSM), 4G (LTE) and 5G (NR) radio access networks in a commercial mobile network. Measurements are collected at 15-minute intervals and describe sector-level traffic load, radio quality, user activity and energy consumption across multiple technologies and frequency bands.

The data are provided as CSV files grouped into several subsets, each corresponding to specific observation periods and sets of base stations. Each record includes a timestamp, pseudonymized base-station and sector identifiers, and technology-specific KPIs such as utilisation indicators, CQI statistics, numbers of connected and active users, data volumes and per-interval energy consumption.

The dataset is intended to support research on data-driven RAN optimisation, energy-efficient operation, traffic and performance modelling, anomaly detection and digital-twin development for cellular networks under realistic commercial conditions.
