We analyzed
volatile composition in the scent bouquet of fruits of Ficus colubrinae. The data contains
three samples: unripe fruits during day, ripe fruits during day and ripe fruits
during night. The dataset contains relative amounts of 12 individual or
co-eluting substances.
All
samples were analyzed with an HP5890 Series II gas chromatograph
(Hewlett-Packard, Palo Alto, CA, USA). GC/MS analyses were carried out on
an HP 6890 Series GC connected to an HP 5973 mass selective detector
(Hewlett-Packard) fitted with a BPX5 fused-silica column (25 m, 0.22 mm i.d.,
0.25 μm film thick, SGE).
