Two bitter gourd inbred lines, OHB61-5(gynoecious) and OHB95-1A(monoecious), were crossed and its F2 progeny was developed. By phenotype scoring for sex ratio of F2 individual, plants showing high- and low-female flower frequency per a plant were selected and their genomic DNAs were pooled. F2 phenotype scoring, selection of F2 plants for pooling were done for two years using independent F2 population from the same cross. Parental lines and pooled F2 samples were applied to whole genome sequencing for calculating SNP-index.
