The primary dataset constitutes a comprehensive unbalanced panel encompassing 2,570 observations from 257 listed energy firms across six ASEAN nations Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam spanning the period from 2013 to 2024. This raw data integrates multi-dimensional constructs, including environmental uncertainty indices (proxied by Brent oil price volatility and policy shocks), industry competition metrics measured through the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) composite scores sourced from Refinitiv, and firm valuation proxies represented by Tobin’s Q.
