Longitudinal profiling of the cervicovaginal microbiome

In this longitudinal study, we investigate the composition of the CVM in a cohort of Dutch women participating in the population-based screening program, with proven hrHPV infection but normal cytology at baseline, who were diagnosed with SIL six-months later or did not develop cervical abnormalities. Our study aimed to evaluate the temporal changes in the microbiome in relation to hrHPV progression in these groups.
