Obesity induces phenotypic changes and pro-inflammatory polarization of adipose tissue macrophages, contributing to chronic inflammation and insulin resistance. This study investigates the influence of Bnip3 on adipose tissue inflammation and the metabolic dysfunction prompted by a high-fat diet. Our objective involves examining the impact of a 12-week HFD feeding on both WT and Bnip3 MKO mice, comparing the differentially regulated genes based on dietary intake. Deep sequencing generated the gWAT mRNA profiles of WT and Bnip3 MKO mice fed a NCD or HFD. Three biological replicates were analyzed for each condition.
