Assessment of awareness on diabetes mellitus in perumahan awam (PA), Sir Johor, Cheras

This cross-sectional study was conducted among members of a low-income urban neighborhood in Cheras, Malaysia. For prevalence investigations of a known population, the Krecjie and Morgan formula was used to compute sample size. An online diabetic knowledge questionnaire (DKQ) was given to the subjects by the year three medical students over two days in August 2023. Ethical approval was given and written informed consent was provided by all subjects in this study.
