The objective of this work is characterize and test the differences in the tongue dorsum microbiome composition between 29 wine tasters (professional) and 30 individuals which have a normal consumption of alcohol (non-taster) by using using the hypervariable V3-V4 region of 16S rRNA gene amplicon. The individuals belonging to the wine taster group were asked to perform sampling before and 2 hours after a tasting session.
