This release provides the article-level conservative geolocation layer for the Animal Logistics in Medieval Pilgrimage project.
The validated incident dataset contains 1,429 animal-logistics incidents. The current canonical geolocation layer contains 386 point-resolved incidents and 1,043 non-point incidents. For article-level spatial interpretation, however, only 316 conservative geographic points are retained. These 316 points are the locations used for the paper's map and spatial analysis.
A previous public geolocation freeze recorded 485 point-resolved incidents. That earlier figure is preserved here only as a historical crosswalk value. It is not the article-level conservative geolocation layer.
