Genomic prediction of Heterobothriosis resistance and standard length in the tiger pufferfish fed with low fish meal diet

The rising price of fish meal and sustainability concerns drives aquaculture industry to find out the alternative protein resources. The commercial diet of tiger pufferfish, Takifugu rubripes contains high level of fish meal (70% ~ 80%) and thus is eager for the replacements. In this study, we evaluated the availability of the genomic prediction of Heterobothriosis resistance and standard length in the tiger pufferfish fed with low fish meal diet.
