Data of the region-based and grid-based melt period in the northern high latitude wetlands. The files include the start and end days as well as the length of the melt period with both methods defined with the SMOS F/T soil thaw data. The total biospheric posterior CH4 emissions from the inverse model CTE-CH4 during the melt period defined with both methods are in csv-file format, also for the Hudson Bay lowlands and Western Siberian lowlands. All the variables are given for the years 2011-2021 and have an annual time resolution.
