Intestinal biogeography of the coyote gut microbiome. gut metagenome

The purpose of this study was to characterize the gut microbiome at different sites along the intestinal tract of coyotes (Canis latrans). We purposefully did not control for variation in diet in order to evaluate microbiome composition in free-living organisms in uncontrolled environments.
