The dataset, "Raw Data_Factors Influencing English Teachers’ Teaching Satisfaction in Chinese Universities," was collected from February to March 2025 via Wenjuanxing (https://www.wjx.cn/) using a cross-sectional design. Participants were English teachers randomly selected from three universities across China. The survey was conducted anonymously and with strict confidentiality to ensure data integrity. To enhance the external validity and generalizability of the results, the researchers collaborated with academic leaders who communicated the purpose and importance of the study to faculty members across different teaching ranks and encouraged voluntary participation. This dataset focuses on key psychological and organizational factors, including emotional intelligence, school climate, emotional labor, and teaching satisfaction, providing rich insights into the professional experiences and well-being of English teachers in the higher education context of China.
