Budget of the Republic of Slovenia

The budget of the Republic of Slovenia is a legal act adopted by the National Assembly in accordance with a special, prescribed procedure. In the state budget, we show the estimated revenue and expenditure of the state for one year. The budget of the Republic of Slovenia consists of a general part, a specific part and a plan of development programmes. In the first part of the budget, there is information on how the state collects revenue and how it spends it. Who spends funds and for which programme areas is indicated in a specific section of the budget. The development programme plan shows, as the third part of the budget, the individual projects of budget users for their entire duration. Budget classifications are defined in the budget to show how we spend the budget, who is using it and for what purposes.
