This is an extract from the OpenStreetMap database as at the 6th June 2011 for Scotland. OpenStreetMap is user contributed data and there is not consistent coverage over the whole country. It is being continually updated so if you need a more up-to-date version you should download a newer version from OSM. Details of OpenStreetMap can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenStreetMap. This data was downloaded from Geofabrik (http://www.geofabrik.de/data/download.html) The data has been converted to British National Grid using ArcMap. All Data from OpenStreetMap is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License. GIS vector data. This dataset was first accessioned in the EDINA ShareGeo Open repository on 2011-06-07 and migrated to Edinburgh DataShare on 2017-02-21.
