The data refers to number of schools according to school building in which majority of classes are held. It provides details of availability of infrastructural facilities such as pucca, partly pucca, Kuchcha, tent, open Space in different categories of schools. A school building is to be treated as pucca if it has its wall made of Burnt Bricks, stones, cement, concrete or timber, plywood, artificial wood of synthetic material and PVC, and roof made of brick, stones,timber,plywood, bamboo, artificial wood of synthetic material etc. Partly Pucca buildings are those whose walls made of material used for pucca building and roof is made of the materials other than those used for pucca building such as bamboo, grass, thatch etc. Kuchcha Building are those in which walls and roof made of bamboos, mud, grass, reeds, thatch and loosely packed stones.
