A single-center 3D reconstruction image dataset for exploring inferior mesenteric artery and vein types

The inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) and inferior mesenteric vein (IMV) are of critical significance in colorectal surgery; however, their anatomical variations and classification systems remain undefined. Additionally, existing studies lack open-source image datasets, which significantly hinder research reproducibility and academic collaboration in this field. In the dataset, we retrospectively collected 3D reconstructed images of IMA/IMV from 147 colorectal cancer patients, which were validated intraoperatively, and openly shared their variation types.
