Supervision („veiledning“) im Feld der Musiktherapie in Norwegen Supervision („veiledning“) in the field of music therapy in Norway

Die Forschungsstudie untersucht mit Hilfe eines Fragebogens, wie weit Musiktherapeuten in Norwegen sich der Supervision bedienen oder diese wahrnehmen, wie Supervision organisiert wird, welche Erfahrungen damit gemacht wurden und welche Erwartungen es gibt. Die Konzepte guter Supervision werden im Licht der Theorie der „sozialen Repräsentationen“ erklärt. Dabei wird auch die aktuelle Literatur in Skandinavien und anderen Ländern mit Einfluss auf die Informanten untersucht. Ebenso werden die Diskurse im akademischen Milieu der norwegischen Musiktherapie beschrieben und erklärt. Die Untersuchung gibt auch Auskünfte in welchen Feldern Musiktherapeuten in Norwegen arbeiten. Es überrascht nicht, dass Supervision in nur geringem Maße in Anspruch genommen wird und dass die Erwartungen sich hauptsächlich auf eine Verbesserung der Professionalität einschließlich professionellerem Einsatz von Interventionen sowie auf Entlastung beziehen. These survey studies explores to which extent music therapists in Norway use supervision or receive supervision offered at their working place and how this is organized. It evaluates the experienced benefits and the expectations to supervision. The answers to the question „with supervision I associate“ are seen and explained under the theory of „social representations“. This is also seen in relation to Integrative concepts on „what is good supervision“. A literature review was made on relevant literature in Norway, Scandinavia and other countries that influenced our informants. We also describe and analyse the discourses that are seen in the academic environment of Norwegian music therapy. The survey also gives information about the various fields in which the music therapists work. As we expected, few music therapists in Norway had an arrangement for supervision. Supervision is first and foremost seen as a possibility to become a more professional music therapist, finding better interventions and getting support and relief. peerReviewed publishedVersion
