1-km Nighttime Aerosol Optical Depth Retrieval via Hybrid Ensemble Learning: From Regional Validation to National-Scale Application

The file AOD_daily_combined_2017–2022.nc contains daily nighttime aerosol optical depth (AOD) data over the North China Plain (NCP) for the period 2017–2022. These values were retrieved from VIIRS Day/Night Band (DNB) observations using the LGB-FTStack algorithm. The companion file AOD_yearly_mean_2017–2022.nc provides the corresponding annual mean nighttime AOD values over the NCP for the same timeframe. The National_NAOD_2021_seasonal_mean.nc provides the national scale seasonal mean nighttime AOD values in 2021.
