GSD Dataset

This dataset contains granulometric data (grain size distributions, clr-transformed values), end-member modeling (EMMA) outputs, and quartz grain morphoscopic observations used in the manuscript “Assessing sedimentological proxies for characterizing tropical storm deposits in the Chandipur coastal region of Bay of Bengal, India: A modern analog for paleotempestology”. Data were collected from back-barrier marsh and barrier environments along five coastal transects using laser diffraction, binocular microscopy, and SEM-based microtextural techniques.
