资源简介:
The ITER cryogenic system comprises multiple elements with an overall helium inventory of about 24 ton. Distribution of helium over the cryogenic system varies depending on operational modes. A mode analysis has been carried out in order to optimise and validate the solution and equipment sizing for the helium storage, recovery and purification systems. This paper outlines the methodology used, the input data for the study (system requirements, proposed sizing and assumptions) and the main results of the study. It describes key elements of the He storage consisting of GHe (warm and cold) vessels and LHe vessel. It also justifies the choice of the storage configuration and demonstrates sufficient storage flexibility for the ITER cryogenic system operation.
