The United States had the highest tuition fees of the OECD countries in 2019, charging an average of over 12,000 U.S. dollars per national student at the master's level. Chile followed on the place behind with 11,200 U.S. dollars per student, with Ireland in third. The Nordic countries as well as Estonia and Turkey had no tuition fees.
