Seagrass distribution, areal cover, and changes (1990–2021) in coastal waters off West-Central Florida, USA

<strong>Dataset provided by:</strong> Luis Lizcano-Sandoval* College of Marine Science, University of South Florida *[e-mail] <br> January 2022. <br> This dataset includes seagrass distribution maps of the West Florida coast (Tampa Bay, Clearwater, St. Joseph Sound, Sarasota) obtained by remote sensing data over the period 1990-2021. Ground-truth dataset for 2019 is provided, with three classes: softbottom [0], hardbottom [1], and seagrass [2]. <br> The seagrass maps are (16) raster files in geotiff format, and the ground-truth data is a (1) shapefile. <br> More details about the methods and references on the origin of the dataset visit the article associated. <br> If want to cite this dataset please use the associated doi provided by figshare, or cite the article.
