Periodontitis and healthy oral microbiome 16S analysis

The aim of the study is to understantd the difference in oral microbial composition of healthy and periodontitis patients.Bacterial DNA has been extracted from the healthy and periodontitis subgingival microbiome samples and submitted to 16S rRNA gene sequencing.Samples of subgingival microbiome were collected from sex-matched four healthy donors and four patients with untreated moderate to severe periodontitis.
