These files include the original application which shows applicant's name, date of birth, employer (or name of last employer), information concerning children unemployed and dependent on applicant, applicant's earnings, details regarding pensions, compensation, value of real estate, other income etc. Case files include periodic reviews of allowances granted, including details of Commonwealth pension granted (successful applicants being entitled to a State pension, of which the Commonwealth government pays part, the State government paying the remainder), and recommendation. Also included are yearly reports, age search forms (information obtained from Registrar General's Department), all correspondence, personal and interdepartmental.
