CUB-200-2011 is a fine-grained classification dataset, and we have noticed that a considerable amount of work is actually using a manually annotated bounding box preprocessed form. To prevent confusion, we specifically named it CUB-cropped. It avoids interference from the background and therefore typically has higher accuracy than the original form.
