资源简介:
This dataset was created to assess the relative accuracy and precision of a novel, low-cost, low-power global navigation satellite system (GNSS) instrument in comparison to existing commercial GPS/GNSS receivers in an Arctic/ice sheet setting. The new instrument, called an OGRE (On-ice GNSS Research Experimental), was used on several kinematic ice sheet surface survey sessions alongside a Trimble R7 west of Summit Station, Greenland. The OGRE was also tested in a static/stationary configuration for 11 12-hour sessions within the vicinity of the Earthscope SMM4 GNSS base station. Here, we provide minimally processed data from these instrument survey-pairs: data are converted from proprietary binary formats into standard RINEX (Receiver Independent Exchange Format) 2.11 files. The kinematic data is provided at 1 Hz, while the static data provided at 30 seconds. For the kinematic traverses, the antenna reference point (ARP) corrections to the snow surface are also provided.
