Metastasis associated differently expressed circRNA and mass spectrometry data from RNA pull-down

We applied a screening assay based on the repeated formation of lung metastasis in an in vivo xenograft model to mimic the invasion-metastasis step and isolated a clone with higher lung metastatic potential than the original PDX model. We termed this clone, the patient-derived xenograft (PDX) with lung metastasis (PDX LM) clone . The increased invasive ability of this clone was confirmed by in vivo and in vitro assays. High-throughput RNA sequencing comparing five no clinically metastasis cases and five metastasis cases was performed to identify candidates based on the |log2 (fold change) |>1, and P-value <0.05 cutoff values. RNA pull-down and mass spectrometry analysis identified proteins that interact with circSPIRE1.
