资源简介:
In 2021, around 77,5 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent were emitted in Austria. As a result, greenhouse gas emissions were around 1.9 % below the 1990 level. Following the significant decline in the pandemic year 2020, an increase of 4.9 % compared to the previous year was again observed in 2021. This is mainly due to higher steel production, increased electricity production in gas power plants, more energy consumption in buildings and more traffic due to weather conditions. Overall, the non-European emissions trading sectors emitted around 48.8 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent in 2021. Emissions were thus slightly higher than that for 2021.
