Data on the adoption of integrated pest management (IPM) practices in wheat production in Switzerland

Data were gathered through an online survey on the adoption of integrated pest management (IPM) practices in wheat production in Switzerland. The dataset includes a sample of 797 farmers. It covers current IPM implementation and the choice of practices in scenarios where pesticide use is reduced by 50%. It also includes information on farmer characteristics, individual preferences, attitudes toward IPM, sources of information, perceived barriers to adoption, non-cognitive skills, and risk preferences. To enhance the dataset, the survey responses were matched with farm census data to provide further insights into farm structure. The dataset is part of a larger data collection gathered within the Horizon Europe research project SUPPORT.
