Explainable Source Trust in Autonomous Driving: A Comprehensive Survey and Research Directions

This dataset supports a PRISMA-ScR-informed scoping and systematic mapping review of explainable source trust in autonomous driving. It contains the record-level screening log for 2,024 identified records (Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, Google Scholar), eligibility decisions, and supplementary tables S1–S5: the contextual cross-survey mapping (15 surveys × 13 criteria), retained search formulations and yields, the mutually exclusive classification of the 91 retained technical studies, the E1–E5 functional coding matrix, and the non-exclusive degradation-family coding.
