This deposit reports a proof-of-principle execution of the I_phys physiological subscore pipeline on WESAD. The analysis tests whether I_phys decreases under stress relative to baseline using subject-level paired statistics. The primary result supports the expected direction: I_phys decreases under stress relative to baseline. The stress-baseline contrast shows a moderate paired effect, a significant Wilcoxon signed-rank test, and a fully negative bootstrap confidence interval. The parametric paired t-test remains above the conventional p < .05 threshold. The result is therefore interpreted as proof-of-principle evidence, not as confirmatory validation.
