EDP Foz-Tua: Dragonflies and Damselflies (Odonata) - Ecological Monitoring Program (2020)

The dataset contains records of Dragonflies and Damselflies (Odonata) collected in the lower valley of the River Tua, and included in the Ecological Monitoring Program (2018-2020) of the Foz Tua Hydroelectric Dam, promoted by EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. Data were collected in August and September 2020 during field visits to 30 sampling points with favourable habitats on the area of the lower Tua valley directly or indirectly affected by the Foz Tua dam, and in a samll stream of the Douro basin (Ferradosa srteam). The occurrence for the both groups was recorded when individuals were seen or captured heard around the point in a 15-minute census.
