资源简介:
This study was conducted by Laboratory for Metabolomics, Laboratory for Intestinal Ecosystem and Laboratory for Genotyping Development, RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences (IMS). They demonstrated antibiotics treatment using C57BL/6J wild-type mice. Antibiotic-treated mice were generated by administering a cocktail of four antibiotics (ampicillin, neomycin, vancomycin and metronidazole) via drinking water to wild-type mice for 4 weeks, followed by topical application for 1 week. Male mice aged 8-14 weeks were used for in vivo animal studies. All mouse studies were performed in compliance with RIKEN-approved protocols (29-009-4) and institutional guidelines. The eye samples were obtained in 2024 and we collected gut microbiome data by 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing.
