资源简介:
Corynespora leaf spot of strawberry, caused by the fungal pathogen Corynespora cassiicola, is a new disease reported successively in China and America recently, which shows considerable promise to develop into serious epidemic. In this study, we presented the highly contiguous genome assembly of strawberry-sampled C. cassiicola strain CM1 using a combination of Illumina and Nanopore sequencing technologies. For facilitating comparative analysis, a chromosome-scale genome assembly of rubber-sampled C. cassiicola strain XJ was obtained as well. The CM1 assembly consists of 127 scaffolds (N50, 1.62 Mb) with an estimated genome size of 44.90 Mb (only ten non-ATCG bases left), while the XJ assembly consists of 23 scaffolds (N50, 4.62 Mb) with a genome-wide length of 44.42 Mb (166 ambiguous bases). The genome-sequencing results will provide a valuable resource for further research on the pathogenesis of C. cassiicola in strawberry and other host plants.
