This collection consists of images, site record data and a vector graphic from an archaeological evaluation by Colchester Archaeological Trust. 13 trial-trenches were dug on land to the east of Chappel Hill, Chappel, Essex in August 2023.This work was done in advance of a proposed new residential development. Excavations revealed a Neolithic to Early Bronze Age pit or ditch terminus and a Roman pit.
