资源简介:
Complementing a previously uploaded model of the altar itself, I've posted this complete 3D model of the Ulaca's sanctuary. Located not far away from the oppidum's entrance, the sanctuary was one of the most important places in the settlement, and beyond. As is suggested by the researchers (Ruiz-Zapatero et al. 2020), there must be a pre-existing supra-local ritual significance, closely related with the mountain, wich was later materialized in the rock sanctuary.
The sanctuary is a complex formed by the altar and an adjacent square-shape area carved in the natural bed-rock. We are able to distinguish, at least, two entrances flanking the altar and a bench. Most probably, the place main function was to gather the inhabitants, but also restrict the entrance.
