Precipitation measurement network

The data base (Shape) currently contains ombrometers (automatic precipitation meters) operated by the Land of Saxony. Location coordinators and other subject-specific information are included. The measured precipitation is used to compress the precipitation data collected by the German Weather Service and are used in particular for flow predictions in the flowing waters of the country.
