资源简介:
This dataset contains 5,629 computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation records for nanofluid natural convection heat transfer inside rectangular cavities. The data were generated by systematically varying key thermal and geometric parameters, including cavity aspect ratio, wall boundary conditions (hot, cold, or adiabatic), heat source length, nanoparticle volume fraction (φ), and Rayleigh number (Ra), with the average Nusselt number (Nu) as the output variable representing convective heat transfer performance.
The dataset was developed as part of a thesis research project investigating the thermal behavior of nanofluids in enclosed cavities under diverse boundary condition configurations. It is intended to support machine learning model training, statistical analysis, and further numerical investigation in the field of nanofluid heat transfer.
Parameter ranges:
Rayleigh number (Ra): 10³ to 10⁷
Nanoparticle volume fraction (φ): 0.00 to 0.05
Aspect ratio: 1.00 to 1.67
Heat source length: 0.4 to 1.0
Wall conditions: hot, cold, adiabatic (all four walls varied independently)
Prandtl number (Pr): derived from nanofluid properties
Dataset structure: The dataset contains 11 columns — SI (serial index), Aspect Ratio, Top wall, Bottom wall, Left wall, Right wall, Heat source length, Volume fraction, Ra, Pr, and Nu — stored in a single Excel sheet (.xlsx format).
The complete dataset is made publicly available to ensure reproducibility and to facilitate further research by the scientific community.
