Reduced metagenome sequencing for strain-resolution taxonomic profiles

As an alternative to do shotgun sequencing, we explore the Reduced Metagenome Sequencing approarch to study the composition of microbial communitites. The approach involves cutting the DNA using restricion enzymes, followed by PCR amplification and sequencing of the resulting amplicons.
