Critical factors for artificial intelligence readiness in Peruvian firms: Survey instrument and technical documentation
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the survey instrument and technical documentation used in the study "Critical factors of artificial intelligence readiness in Peruvian firms: identifying the dominant dimension". The instrument comprises 30 items measured on a seven-point Likert agreement scale, organized into three theoretical dimensions of ten items each: technological, organizational and economic conditions for the integration of artificial intelligence. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis on the study sample indicated a four-facet empirical structure, in which the technological dimension separates into base infrastructure and advanced technical capabilities. Content validity was established through expert judgment by three independent judges holding doctoral degrees in business administration, yielding an Aiken V coefficient of 1.00. A pilot application to 21 respondents produced a Cronbach alpha of 0.955. In the main application to 412 practising managers of firms operating in Peru, conducted between 19 May and 11 June 2026, internal consistency reached a Cronbach alpha of 0.964 and a McDonald omega of 0.964, with a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin measure of 0.959. The record includes the complete instrument in Spanish, the version administered to respondents, together with a reference translation into English, the screening and segmentation questions, and a codebook mapping each variable to its item wording, theoretical dimension, empirical facet and coding. The study protocol was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the School of Business Administration, Universidad César Vallejo (Report No. 01555-2025/CEI-AE, 11 November 2025). Responses were collected anonymously; no names, corporate identities or contact details were recorded.
