Deletion of KvB2 leads to loss of muscle function in young and old mice

To investigate the skeletal muscle function and aging phenotype of KvB2 null mice we utilized the young and old KvB2 KO mice We performed the analyses of body weights and hindlimb limb muscles weights, forelimb grip strength and hindlimb muscle EDL myofiber force frequency relationship, muscle TA myofiber cross-section area and tissue fibrosis, muscle EDL sarcomere length, and Gastrocnemius muscles gene expression analysis through RNA Sequencing and RT-qPCR validation of the KvB2 WT and KO genotypes
