Midgut transcriptome assessment of the cockroach-hunting wasp Ampulex compressa (Apoidea: Ampulicidae)

We comparatively study genomic and transcriptomic data to examine the species-specific digestive capabilities of A. compressa by identifying expressed genes in the midgut of larvae and adults related with important functions in digestion.
